Bruce Pantani of B. Pantani and Sons Builders, Inc., developer of Starlight Homes subdivision on Alps Road, has donated a two acre piece of wooded upland to the Land Trust. The property is located between Stonegate and Oakwood condominiums and is an interior lot with no road frontage. It is located directly west of land owned by the Town of Branford, which contains a detention pond, along Short Beach Road, across from Vineyard Road. Conserving open space in this highly developed area of town is a priority, and the Land Trust sincerely appreciates Mr. Pantani's generosity. Mr. Pantani, along with his brother Ed Pantani and Richard Sullivan, also gave the Trust 1.5 acres of land off Granite Road in 1996.   (Click on map for larger view.)
